About the position

The Associate Digital Product Manager at Generac Power Systems is responsible for leading the digital experience strategy for a group of products or solutions. This role involves collaboration with various business partners to identify growth opportunities and drive product innovation, ensuring a user-first approach in product management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the digital experience subject matter expert for a vertical of products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with key business partners in Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Technology, Sales, Operations, and Finance to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Identify needs and pain points of users, translating them into detailed user stories for the development team.
  • Manage content optimization, personalization, and testing strategies in the content management system.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance and conduct market research to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  • Work closely with design, development, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Test new features and functionality and facilitate stakeholder testing to ensure product stability.
  • Gather data, feedback, and research to support prioritization of product backlog, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Communicate product updates and insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, marketing, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital product management.
  • Proven track record of setting and driving outcome-based product metrics.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a user-first mindset.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Foundational knowledge of product management best practices.
  • Proven ability to articulate a business case to stakeholders and customers.
