About the position

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Associate Director at Kraft Heinz is responsible for ensuring the company identifies, assesses, and effectively manages the full spectrum of risks that could impact its ability to achieve strategic objectives. This position safeguards the organization's assets, reputation, and operational continuity by establishing and maintaining a robust risk management framework. The role supports informed decision-making by senior leadership, fosters a culture of risk awareness, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, ultimately ensuring that Kraft Heinz is resilient and prepared to navigate both current and emerging risks in a complex, global business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an enterprise-wide risk management strategy aligned with Kraft Heinz's business objectives.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organization, including supply chain disruptions and food safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with departments to design and implement effective risk mitigation plans, particularly in areas such as food safety and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present regular risk management reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and conduct risk management training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for risk management matters with external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed risk management practices into business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the food or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful risk management strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CRM, ARM, FRM) is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
