About the position

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director to join our Automation Center of Excellence (COE) organization. This role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of automation solutions that meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders. The Associate Director will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain applications that fulfill end-user requirements. This includes creating detailed test plans, debugging plans, and rollout plans to ensure successful deployment of automation solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for developing applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Flow, Power BI, Power Fabric, Dataverse, and other Power Platform tools as necessary to meet business requirements. You will also create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other necessary items to display data and information for the business. Additionally, you will develop and work with SharePoint Sites and lists to seamlessly integrate Power Platform and SharePoint, enhancing the overall user experience. As a leader within the Automation COE, you will partner with and mentor teams performing technical tasks related to the development and management of automations. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the RPA COE's methodologies and tools, guiding other developers in best practices for secure Power Platform development. This includes reviewing code for accuracy and functionality, making suggestions for technical modifications to prevent future problems, and managing existing solutions within KPMG environments. You will also support the migration of RPA Automations to Power Platform applications and continue to learn and implement best practices as Microsoft evolves its Power Platform products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and design applications.
  • Develop and maintain applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools.
  • Create detailed test plans, debugging plans, and rollout plans for application deployment.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other items to display data for the business.
  • Develop and work with SharePoint Sites and lists to integrate Power Platform and SharePoint.
  • Partner with and mentor Automation COE teams on technical tasks related to automation development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of RPA COE methodologies and tools.
  • Guide developers in best practices for secure Power Platform development.
  • Review code work for accuracy and functionality, suggesting technical modifications as needed.
  • Manage and support existing solutions within KPMG environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent, hands-on experience with RPA platforms - Automation Anywhere.
  • Minimum three years of recent, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in secure design, development, and implementation on Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD.
  • Solid understanding of different development methodologies and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
