About the position

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director to join our Automation Center of Excellence (COE) organization. This role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of automation solutions that meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders. The Associate Director will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain applications that fulfill end-user requirements. This includes creating detailed test plans, debugging plans, and rollout plans to ensure successful implementation of automation solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. You will create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other necessary items to display data effectively for the business. Additionally, you will work with SharePoint Sites and lists to ensure seamless integration with Power Platform tools. Mentoring and partnering with Automation COE teams will be a key aspect of your role, as you guide them in technical tasks related to the development and management of automations. The Associate Director will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the RPA COE's methodologies and tools. This includes guiding other developers in best practices for secure Power Platform development, reviewing code for accuracy and functionality, and suggesting technical modifications to prevent future issues. You will manage and support existing solutions within KPMG environments, utilizing approved software and tools to adhere to Secure Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, ensuring compliance with KPMG's policies and requirements. Furthermore, you will support the migration of RPA Automations to Power Platform applications and stay updated on best practices as Microsoft evolves its Power Platform products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and design applications.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Create detailed test plans, debugging plans, and rollout plans for applications.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other items to display data for the business.
  • Develop and work with SharePoint Sites and lists for integration with Power Platform.
  • Mentor Automation COE teams in technical tasks related to development and management of automations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of RPA COE methodologies and tools.
  • Guide developers in best practices for secure Power Platform development.
  • Review code work for accuracy and functionality, suggesting technical modifications as needed.
  • Manage and support existing solutions within KPMG environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent, hands-on experience with RPA platforms - Automation Anywhere.
  • Minimum three years of recent, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in secure design, development, and implementation on Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD.
  • Solid understanding of different development methodologies and familiarity with cyber security frameworks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.
