About the position

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director to join our Automation Center of Excellence (COE) organization. This role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver value to our clients. The Associate Director will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain applications that meet end-user needs. This includes creating detailed test plans, debugging plans, and rollout strategies to ensure successful deployment of automation solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for developing applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Flow, Power BI, Power Fabric, Dataverse, and other Power Platform tools as necessary to meet business requirements. You will also create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other necessary items to display data effectively for the business. Additionally, you will work with SharePoint Sites and lists to ensure seamless integration between Power Platform and SharePoint. As a mentor to the Automation COE teams, you will guide technical tasks related to the development and management of automations. Your contributions will be essential in continuously improving the RPA COE's methodologies and tools. You will review code for accuracy and functionality, suggest technical modifications to prevent future issues, and manage existing solutions within KPMG environments. Utilizing approved software and tools, you will adhere to Secure Software Development Lifecycle methodologies to meet KPMG's policies and requirements. Furthermore, you will support the migration of RPA Automations to Power Platform applications and stay updated on best practices as Microsoft evolves its Power Platform products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and design applications.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other items to display data for the business.
  • Develop and manage SharePoint Sites and lists for integration with Power Platform.
  • Mentor Automation COE teams on technical tasks related to automation development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of RPA methodologies and tools.
  • Review code for accuracy and functionality, and suggest technical modifications.
  • Manage and support existing automation solutions within KPMG environments.
  • Support the migration of RPA Automations to Power Platform applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent, hands-on experience with RPA platforms - Automation Anywhere.
  • Minimum three years of recent, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in secure design, development, and implementation on Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD.
  • Solid understanding of different development methodologies and familiarity with cyber security frameworks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
