About the position

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director to join our Automation Center of Excellence (COE) organization. This role is pivotal in driving the development and maintenance of applications that meet end-user requirements through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. The Associate Director will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, developing, and maintaining applications, as well as creating detailed test plans, debugging plans, and rollout plans. The position requires expertise in utilizing Power Platform tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse to fulfill business needs effectively. In this role, the Associate Director will create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other necessary items to display data and information for the business. This includes developing and managing SharePoint Sites and lists to ensure seamless integration with Power Platform. The Associate Director will also partner with and mentor Automation COE teams, guiding them in technical tasks related to the development and management of automations. Continuous improvement of the RPA COE's methodologies and tools is essential, as is the ability to review code for accuracy and functionality, suggest technical modifications, and manage existing solutions within KPMG environments. The Associate Director will support the migration of RPA Automations to Power Platform applications and will be expected to stay updated on best practices as Microsoft evolves its Power Platform products. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in secure software development lifecycle methodologies and a commitment to adhering to KPMG's policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and design applications.
  • Develop and maintain applications to meet end-user requirements.
  • Create detailed test plans, debugging plans, launch, and rollout plans.
  • Develop PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Flow, Power BI, and Dataverse as necessary.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other items to display data for the business.
  • Develop and manage SharePoint Sites and lists for integration with Power Platform.
  • Partner with and mentor Automation COE teams in technical tasks related to development and management of automations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the RPA CoE's methodologies and tools.
  • Guide developers in best practices for secure Power Platform development.
  • Review code work for accuracy and functionality, and suggest technical modifications.
  • Manage and support existing solutions within KPMG environments.
  • Support the migration of RPA Automations to Power Platform applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent, hands-on experience with RPA platforms - Automation Anywhere.
  • Minimum three years of recent, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in secure design, development, and implementation on Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD.
  • Solid understanding of different development methodologies and familiarity with cyber security frameworks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.
