About the position

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director to join the Automation Center of Excellence (COE) organization. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and developing applications, and maintaining various Power Platform tools to meet business needs. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, mentoring team members, and ensuring secure software development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications to meet end-user requirements.
  • Create detailed test plans, debugging plans, launch, and rollout plans.
  • Develop PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Flow, Power BI, Power Fabric, Dataverse, and other Power Platform tools as necessary.
  • Create and maintain reports, screens, dashboards, and other required items to display data for the business.
  • Develop and work with SharePoint Sites and lists to integrate Power Platform and SharePoint.
  • Partner with and mentor Automation COE teams on technical tasks related to development and management of automations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the RPA COE's methodologies and tools.
  • Guide other developers in best practices for secure Power Platform development.
  • Review code work for accuracy and functionality, and suggest technical modifications to prevent future problems.
  • Manage and support existing solutions within KPMG environments.
  • Utilize approved software and tools to follow Secure Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
  • Support the migration of RPA Automations to Power Platform applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent, hands-on experience with RPA platforms - Automation Anywhere.
  • Minimum three years of recent, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Dataverse.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in secure design, development, and implementation on Microsoft technologies including Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD.
  • Solid understanding and experience with different development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and secure code development.
  • Excellent customer service skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with complex and distributed organizational structures.
