About the position

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director to join our Automation Center of Excellence (COE) organization. This role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver value to our clients. The Associate Director will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain applications that meet end-user needs. This includes creating detailed test plans, debugging plans, and rollout strategies to ensure successful deployment of automation solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. You will create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to provide insights for the business. Additionally, you will work with SharePoint Sites and lists to integrate Power Platform solutions seamlessly. Mentoring and partnering with Automation COE teams will be a key aspect of your role, as you guide them in technical tasks related to automation development and management. The Associate Director will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the RPA COE's methodologies and tools. This includes reviewing code for accuracy and functionality, suggesting technical modifications to prevent future issues, and managing existing solutions within KPMG environments. You will utilize approved software and tools to adhere to Secure Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, ensuring compliance with KPMG's policies and requirements. As Microsoft evolves its Power Platform products, you will be expected to stay updated on best practices and implement them effectively in your work.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and design applications.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Sites and lists.
  • Mentor Automation COE teams in technical tasks related to automation development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of RPA COE methodologies and tools.
  • Review code for accuracy and functionality, and suggest technical modifications.
  • Manage and support existing automation solutions within KPMG environments.
  • Stay updated on best practices as Microsoft evolves Power Platform products.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent, hands-on experience with RPA platforms - Automation Anywhere.
  • Minimum three years of recent, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in secure design, development, and implementation on Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD.
  • Solid understanding of different development methodologies and familiarity with cyber security frameworks.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.
