About the position

The Associate Director of Business Strategy & Operations will lead client engagement and project initiatives focused on transforming federal client enterprise processes and working environments. This role involves collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to address unique challenges, designing and executing measurable transformation activities, and managing complex initiatives while fostering collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation projects and on-time deliverables, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of transformation consultants, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with federal client stakeholders, understanding needs, and collaborating with team members and Subject Matter Experts (SME) on effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies, including strategic communications, to facilitate smooth transitions and organizational adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services, meeting or exceeding client expectations and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in industrial engineering, business operations, or a related field.
  • Proven consulting experience (7+ years) in leading transformation-focused initiatives and managing complex process improvements in industrial or logistics enterprises.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to obtain an MBI / Public Trust clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in leading and managing organizational change initiatives.
  • Prior Federal experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
