This in-office position is located in Stephenville, Texas, and requires a flexible work schedule, including frequent evenings, weekends, and some holidays, particularly during peak periods. The Associate Director will be expected to work remotely at the request of the University, adapting to the needs of the department and the university community. The role demands strong leadership skills, as the Associate Director will provide guidance to a team of direct reports, including the Assistant Director of Facilities and the Assistant Director of Sports Clubs, as well as approximately 60 undergraduate employees. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing departmental goals, objectives, and strategic plans, while also ensuring compliance with safety and risk management practices across all facilities. In addition to administrative duties, the Associate Director will be responsible for financial oversight, including the preparation and administration of a $300,000 budget for facilities and sport clubs. This includes forecasting income, monitoring fiscal year comparisons, and conducting program evaluations. The role also involves the procurement and maintenance of equipment necessary for the department's operations, ensuring that all facilities are equipped to meet the needs of students and staff alike. The Associate Director will also be tasked with developing and overseeing service contracts for technology and facility maintenance, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
