About the position

The Associate Director, Communication & Omni-Channel Marketing is responsible for developing and executing external product and solution communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and competitiveness. This role involves creating impactful content, managing lead generation, and ensuring a consistent customer experience across various channels. The position also focuses on advising and executing marketing communications and campaigns, including digital channels and events, to drive demand for BD Medical - Pharmaceutical Systems products.

Responsibilities

  • Create the product and solution communication strategy and plan, recommending strategic content topics and campaigns.
  • Establish goals and objectives for communication and omni-channel marketing within BDM-PS, understanding business drivers and customer needs.
  • Design program strategies to deliver the right messaging to the right audience throughout the customer buying process.
  • Drive organizational alignment on desired outcomes of global campaigns and demand creation programs.
  • Liaise with marketing leadership to identify priority business needs and scope demand program requirements.
  • Identify inefficiencies in communication strategy to increase market share of voice.
  • Lead the weekly Promotional Review Committee meeting, influencing positive outcomes and documenting decisions.
  • Create and collaborate on content with external vendors for program execution.
  • Generate awareness and high-quality leads in collaboration with portfolio and ABM marketing.
  • Plan, develop, and execute inbound and outbound digital marketing efforts.
  • Improve marketing and sales automation processes and increase data accuracy.
  • Track program success and communicate results efficiently, driving continuous improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA with a concentration in marketing or communications preferred.
  • 10 years of marketing experience, preferably in the medical device/pharma industry, with various marketing roles globally and regionally.
  • People management experience is ideal.
  • Proven track record of high performance and results in marketing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation for various channels.
  • Experience in digital marketing and tradeshow strategy and planning.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and implementation skills.
