The Associate Director, Consumer Marketing role is a pivotal position within the commercial team, specifically focused on the successful marketing of ORGOVYX, a treatment aimed at improving patient outcomes. This position requires a highly collaborative and patient-centric marketer who can effectively drive the execution of consumer and patient campaigns, develop key patient resources, and enhance brand awareness among patients. The Associate Director will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive consumer/patient campaign for ORGOVYX, ensuring that all messaging is patient-friendly and resonates throughout the patient journey. This includes creating core assets such as online video content and point-of-care materials that engage patients effectively. The role also involves managing the ORGOVYX Patient Ambassador Program, which features patient stories to foster connection and support. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Associate Director will work closely with various cross-functional partners, including Omnichannel, Patient Services, Market Access Marketing, and Sales, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies. The position also requires leveraging insights and data to optimize marketing tactics and monitor performance against key metrics. Additionally, the Associate Director will manage relationships with external agencies to ensure deliverables align with strategic goals and are completed on time and within budget. Compliance with legal and regulatory standards is paramount, and the Associate Director will coordinate closely with the promotional review committee to ensure all marketing activities meet these requirements. Overall, this role is integral to the strategic and tactical marketing efforts for ORGOVYX, contributing to the development of brand plans and overseeing patient starter programs that support patient education and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of consumer/patient campaign for ORGOVYX.
  • Responsible for core assets, including online video content and point-of-care materials, to drive strong patient engagement.
  • Translate brand strategy into patient-friendly content across key touchpoints throughout the patient journey.
  • Lead the execution and rollout of patient materials for HCP offices, nurses, specialty pharmacies, and in-office dispensing pharmacies.
  • Manage the ORGOVYX Patient Ambassador Program and content featuring patient stories.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and drive collaboration with all cross-functional partners including Omnichannel, Patient Services, Market Access Marketing, HCP Marketing, Sales Training, Sales, Regulatory, Legal, Medical, Analytics, Operations, and Market Research.
  • Work closely with the Omnichannel Marketer to ensure the pull-through of digital and social channels.
  • Partner with analytics and market research to understand patient and market insights, optimize marketing tactics, and monitor performance against key metrics.
  • Manage relationships with agencies to produce deliverables on strategy, within timelines, on budget, and with measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with legal and regulatory standards, coordinating closely with the promotional review committee.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic and tactical marketing brand plans.
  • Oversee management of patient starter programs and develop resources that support patient education.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry (6-8 years with a Master's degree), including marketing roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Consumer DTC and/or patient marketing experience required.
  • Prior oncology experience preferred.
  • Co-promotion or alliance experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed for limited in-person collaboration sessions.
