About the position

Chubb is seeking a Director for its high-performing Creative and Video Production Services Team, who will report directly to the VP of Creative and Video Production. This role is pivotal in strategizing, conceptualizing, and producing graphic design, animation, and video productions that cater to both internal and external business partners. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing creative and video productions on a global scale, with a focus on enhancing client and employee engagement while aligning with Chubb's business objectives. The successful candidate will thrive in a highly matrixed environment, adeptly handling tight deadlines across various B2B2C business units. This position requires innovative thinking and a hands-on approach, from ideation through execution. The Director will play a crucial role in Chubb's digital transformation, staying abreast of industry trends and contributing to the growth of the Creative Center of Excellence within Chubb's Global Marketing, Communications, and Investor Relations team. This fast-paced center is essential for brand building, business growth, and talent attraction at Chubb. This high-visibility position will focus on External Communications, Talent Recruitment, and Culture, as well as Business line marketing, providing ample opportunity for professional growth. The preferred location for this role is in the Whitehouse Station, NJ office, with a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days remote. However, candidates are also welcome to consider a hybrid schedule in our New York, NY or Philadelphia, PA offices. Candidates must include a portfolio (via PDF or web link) with their application.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design campaigns and assets (graphics, animations, video/reels, audio) for internal and external use utilizing emerging platforms.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and matrixed organization.
  • Organize and allocate resources for creative projects, facilitating the creation of media content.
  • Develop and manage budgets for animations and productions, including project scope and timelines.
  • Assist with the management of external vendors and mentor the internal team.
  • Work with the Manager to increase the pool of consultants for editing and animators.
  • Travel as necessary to support productions.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in developing and managing creative and video productions globally.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in a variety of creative and video production techniques.
  • Working knowledge of animation techniques is helpful.
  • Experience with mirrorless cameras is beneficial.

  • Experience in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with emerging digital media best practices.
