Our Experience Design team crafts digital experiences people love to use. We are collaborators and innovators who thrive in multidisciplinary teams. Our experience runs the gamut from site to mobile, eCom to campaign, marketing to editorial to product, with one foot in beautiful visual expressions and the other in rock-solid user experience. At heart we are designers who love creating new, meaningful experiences and are well versed in the practice of modern digital experience creation. We're looking for a leader who will help set the vision for their teams and their projects. You'll be as comfortable sweating the details of a design interaction as you are presenting your teams' work. You'll be a mentor and a manager, developing talent to be their best. And you're passionate about growing your own talent, as well.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision for the design team and projects.
• Mentor and manage team members, fostering their career growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create impactful digital experiences.
• Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring quality deliverables.
• Conduct user research and discovery-based activities to inform design decisions.
• Create and maintain design systems, site maps, wireframes, user flows, and journey maps.
• Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and clients.
• Lead project teams of designers and content strategists to produce on-time deliverables.

Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing beautiful, usable experiences across various devices and contexts.
• Strong UX fundamentals paired with refined UI and visual design skills.
• Proficiency in visual design principles including color, typography, and motion.
• Experience with prototyping and design tools such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, and Adobe CC.
• Ability to create and evolve design systems effectively.
• Experience in user research and agile processes.
• Demonstrated holistic thinking about user and business needs in design.
• Experience managing and mentoring direct reports and junior talent.
• 6-8 years of experience in design and user experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Exceptional written and presentation skills to communicate design rationale.
• Experience in collaborating with other capabilities to strategize and design work.
