This role requires a deep understanding of design interactions, as well as the ability to present and advocate for your team's work. In this position, you will be involved in every stage of the design process, from initial concept development to final execution. You will leverage your hybrid design experience, combining strong UX fundamentals with refined UI and visual design skills. Your ability to create and maintain a design system will be essential, as will your experience in user research and agile methodologies. You will work closely with other teams to strategize and build exceptional digital experiences that meet both user and business needs. Responsibilities

• Set the vision for the design team and projects.
• Mentor and manage team members, fostering their career growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create impactful digital experiences.
• Lead project teams of designers and content strategists to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Create and maintain design systems that enhance user experience.
• Conduct user research and discovery-based activities to inform design decisions.
• Develop site maps, wireframes, user flows, and journey maps to visualize user experiences.
• Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and clients.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and sketching exercises to generate design solutions.

Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing beautiful, usable experiences across various devices and contexts.
• Strong UX fundamentals combined with refined UI and visual design skills.
• Proficiency in visual design principles including color, typography, and motion.
• Experience with prototyping tools and techniques.
• Ability to create and evolve design systems effectively.
• Experience in user research and agile design processes.
• Competency in creating experience models such as wireframes and journey maps.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with other teams and strategize effectively.
• High proficiency in design tools such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, and Adobe CC.
• Excellent written and presentation skills to communicate design ideas and rationale.
• Experience managing and mentoring junior designers and direct reports.
• 6-8 years of experience in design roles.
