About the position

The Associate Director of Digital Innovation for US Oncology Marketing will lead the development and implementation of digital health solutions aimed at enhancing customer experience and improving patient outcomes. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify unmet needs in oncology, evaluate potential solutions, and scale successful innovations across the US Oncology Franchise. The position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while fostering partnerships with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality digital health strategies and emerging capabilities to improve patient/customer experience.
  • Exemplify collaborative leadership and provide subject matter expertise by listening to stakeholders and sharing best practices.
  • Lead through influence and build partnerships with Commercial Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Regulatory teams to mitigate risks.
  • Research the external environment and innovation landscape to evaluate potential partnerships that can enhance cancer care.
  • Define use cases and business value for innovative solutions to address unmet needs in oncology.
  • Collaborate with external startups and tech partners to align innovation areas with US Oncology priorities.
  • Make recommendations for digital solutions that complement the overall marketing strategy and articulate unmet customer needs.
  • Procure alignment from tumor teams on project charters and success criteria prior to launch.
  • Oversee the launch of new customer engagement capabilities and measure their value.
  • Support and manage pilots and innovative solutions into core customer capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of digital marketing experience, including strategy development.
  • Minimum of 6 years of biopharma/pharmaceutical marketing experience in Oncology, focusing on Healthcare Professional, patient, and/or Payer/Key Account stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate across various matrixed functions at all levels.
  • Exceptional knowledge of digital health trends.
  • Strong independent working skills and a motivated self-starter with a growth mindset.
