About the position

The Associate Director, Digital Marketing Technology at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Marketo platform and related marketing technologies. This role focuses on ensuring data integrity, managing email campaigns, and supporting the marketing team with analytics and automation strategies. The position plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of marketing efforts through data-driven decision-making and technology integration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of Executive Education's marketing technology, including Marketo.
  • Maintain data quality and cleansing processes in Marketo, including auto and manual updates.
  • Manage the integration between Marketo and Salesforce, resolving synchronization errors as necessary.
  • Design, develop, and maintain critical marketing metrics to enable data-driven decisions; prepare and present regular program analytics.
  • Build and maintain advanced automation techniques in Marketo, such as nurture programs and dynamic content setup.
  • Support Account Based Marketing strategies and initiatives for various teams.
  • Assist with systems upgrades and process-improvement initiatives; conduct vendor research and management.
  • Provide daily support for email program builds and Marketo operations; serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Develop and maintain training resources for the marketing team; conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Assist with Sitecore content updates and maintain organization of the Sitecore workspace.
  • Analyze business processes and needs assessments to solve complex problems related to marketing technology.
  • Translate business and user needs into system requirement specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of work experience in digital marketing technology or a related discipline.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce integration.
  • Knowledge of Account Based Marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with Sitecore or similar content management systems.
