About the position

The Associate Director - Digital Product Owner for Planning in Global Supply Chain at Eli Lilly and Company is responsible for defining and implementing digital solutions that enhance efficiency, visibility, and agility across the supply chain. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to align technology investments with business goals, ensuring that digital planning tools meet user needs and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear vision for digital planning solutions for Global Supply Chain.
  • Align the solution roadmap with overall business goals, ensuring that technology investments drive value and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with global process owners, business stakeholders, supply chain experts, and technology teams to understand pain points, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Elicit and document requirements for digital planning tools, considering scalability, compliance, and user experience.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, feasibility, and resource availability.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, translating business needs into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate across organizations to ensure user-friendly planning applications.
  • Validate design concepts with end-users and iterate based on feedback.
  • Engage with supply chain leaders and executives to gather feedback and align priorities.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Champion the adoption of digital tools and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Align key performance indicators (KPIs) with digital planning solutions and monitor solution performance.
  • Analyze data and identify areas for optimization, driving continuous improvement through iterative enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain and pharmaceuticals, with product management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, planning, and supply chain technology.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools.
  • Strong process improvement experience with Lean, Six Sigma, with experience leading process improvement workshops.
  • Strong data and analytics experience preferred.
  • Strong project management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across functions, and a passion for driving innovation.
