About the position

The Associate Director of Epilepsy Patient/Caregiver Marketing at Jazz Pharmaceuticals is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at the patient and caregiver audience. This role involves leading initiatives that enhance brand success through effective communication, project management, and collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for serving patients, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies and tactics focused on the PTCG audience.
  • Lead the development and execution of portions of the Integrated Strategic Brand Plan.
  • Manage all elements of the PTCG media strategy, including targeting and creative development.
  • Collaborate with Advocacy to define patient advocacy engagement strategies.
  • Lead epilepsy/Epidiolex ambassador programs and community outreach strategies.
  • Create and oversee segments of the annual PTCG Marketing budget.
  • Partner with multiple internal functions to execute projects.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative patient program platforms and campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to uncover PTCG insights and propose strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales training to develop effective promotional resources.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years in marketing/sales in a pharmaceutical market OR Master's/MBA degree and 10+ years of related experience.
  • Experience managing outside agencies and internal teams.
  • In-line brand marketing experience, including commercial launch.
  • Proven record of effectively leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in collaboration across HCP and Patient marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing strategies.
  • Background in rare disease marketing.
  • Familiarity with legal/regulatory/medical processes.
