About the position

The position is responsible for leading the field incentive compensation (IC) design and administration at Teva Pharmaceuticals. This includes quota setting, IC reporting and payments, policy management, and ensuring adherence to corporate policies. The role requires strong business acumen in Pharma Sales, analytics, and financial modeling, along with experience in designing incentive compensation plans. The individual will work closely with various departments to align field incentives with brand objectives and monitor industry trends for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, direction, and standards for the Field Incentive Compensation function and create a 1-3 year roadmap for headcount, systems, and operating budget.
  • Create strong collaboration with Sales, Brand Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources to facilitate the creation of field IC plans and quotas.
  • Manage design, approval, and post-period evaluations of incentive plans and contests for field sales teams.
  • Manage external field incentives operations partner to deliver design, quotas, evaluations, administration, and IC reports.
  • Provide continuous improvement in process and plans through a cycle of plan, do, study, act.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a sales, commercial operations, or consulting related role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Professional experience in a pharmaceutical field incentive compensation related role, 2+ years preferred.
  • Sales management, sales operations, finance, and other analytical experience preferred.

  • Highly effective in sales operations or sales management with a comprehensive understanding of best practices across the pharmaceutical industry.
