The Associate Director-Field Sales role at Wolters Kluwer is a leadership position responsible for managing Field Sales Managers and their teams. Responsibilities

  • Manage Field Sales Managers and their direct reports, ensuring accountability for performance and results.
  • Plan and direct all sales activities, including forecasting and policy development.
  • Establish short-to mid-term goals and quotas aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to managers and high-level professionals.
  • Control resources and contribute to policy formation.
  • Develop and implement new projects, policies, and procedures to meet goals.
  • Assist in the development of functional strategy.
  • Manage customer relationship activities through a team of sales managers and specialists.
  • Lead teams to penetrate lightly penetrated accounts and expand relationships with fintech and sponsor banks.
  • Keep higher-level management informed about progress and issues.
  • Coordinate activities with sales, order processing, and customer support teams.
  • Focus on product feedback, enhancements, and operational quality standards.
  • Develop departmental plans and determine objective-oriented assignments.
  • Establish operating policies and procedural plans, including business priorities and standards.
  • Travel to company meetings, conferences, events, and client sites as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in Field Sales or Account Management.
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance to managers and senior professionals.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and high analytical abilities.
  • Willingness to travel.
