About the position
The Associate Director for Sales and Marketing (Chief Marketing and Sales Officer) at the U.S. Mint is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle of numismatic products, including demand, design, scheduling, supply, quality, sales, pricing, marketing, and profit and loss (P&L). This role involves optimizing sales and marketing programs, developing marketing product plans, and ensuring effective e-commerce activities to enhance customer support and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Optimize Sales and Marketing programs by evaluating and establishing best practices.
- Build collaborative relationships with individuals, teams, groups, and partners outside of the Sales and Marketing Directorate.
- Direct the development of marketing product plans, including strategies and tactical planning.
- Provide oversight for all interrelated e-commerce activities.
- Ensure the efficient performance of all support contractors and monitor performance metrics.
- Monitor overall product portfolio, including individual product revenue and margins.
Requirements
- Progressively responsible leadership experience indicative of senior executive level management capability.
- Experience in leading business development, implementing and evaluating sales strategies, and marketing plans.
- Demonstrated executive level knowledge and expertise in Sales and Marketing.
- Experience executing creative campaigns and developing new products to drive sales and revenue.
