About the position

The Associate Director, Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Center of Excellence at Kite Pharma is responsible for developing and executing global HEOR strategies to support the launch and lifecycle management of innovative therapies for Multiple Myeloma. This role involves managing HEOR projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating key value messages to stakeholders. The position aims to maximize patient impact by shaping the future of treatment paradigms in the field of oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop global HEOR strategies and tactical execution for anitocabtagene autoleucel launch indications.
  • Manage HEOR projects from inception to completion across all research phases.
  • Design and conduct systematic literature reviews, meta-analysis, and cost-effectiveness models.
  • Create study concept documents, protocols, analysis plans, and final study reports.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Market Access teams.
  • Incorporate HEOR and PRO components into clinical studies and collect RWE.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for vendor activities related to evidence generation.
  • Represent Kite at global HEOR-related activities and external meetings.
  • Provide internal training on global HEOR methodologies and data results.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree (PhD) with 5+ years of experience OR Master's Degree with 8+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Previous industry experience within health economics and outcomes research.
  • Strong technical reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills to convey HEOR concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in hematology/oncology therapeutic area is highly preferred.
  • Strong research design, modeling, and analytic skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD) or dual degree in related scientific field.
  • Experience analyzing claims databases and EMRs.
  • Refined methodological, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects.
