As Associate Director Global Marketing for BSI Solutions within the Informatics division at BD Diagnostic Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the Global Microbiology Marketing Team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive both upstream and downstream marketing initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives. Reporting directly to the Global Marketing Director for Blood Culture, TB, ID/AST, you will establish and maintain a comprehensive communication network with global and regional marketers, as well as cross-functional teams. BD is recognized as one of the largest global medical technology companies, and our mission is to advance the world of health. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution, as you will be tasked with leading the global strategy evolution and execution of the Bloodstream Infection Solution (BSI). You will deploy best-in-class marketing practices for segmentation, targeting, positioning, and messaging to deliver differentiated value for BD and our customers. In this role, you will develop and implement global marketing tools and initiatives to ensure that regional teams are equipped for success and positioned to drive customer adoption and retention of the BSI Solution. You will track the effectiveness of these implementations, including sales funnel activities and the impact on product revenue and category share growth. Collaborating closely with the Global Marketing Director, you will also support the development of the Antimicrobial Resistance / Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMR / AMS) strategy, ensuring a stakeholder and patient-centric focus that positions BD as a leader in this area. Your responsibilities will extend to analyzing market intelligence, identifying customer needs, and utilizing insights to inform marketing and business development strategies. You will lead efforts to improve customer experience by acting as a liaison between global microbiology platforms and the global informatics team, ensuring that BD delivers differentiated customer value through its combined offerings. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing global marketing plans for assigned initiatives, ensuring that financial and portfolio strategies are met, and maintaining strong relationships with external business partners to drive growth and market penetration. This role requires a proactive approach to establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all marketing strategies are informed by appropriate inputs from various functions within the organization.
