About the position

The Associate Director, Global Privacy Operations, Data Subject Requests (DSR) is responsible for overseeing the global DSR process, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and operational excellence. This role involves managing a network of privacy stewards and database owners, developing strategic roadmaps, and enhancing user experiences while maintaining efficiency in privacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end global DSR process to honor data rights and requests from individuals.
• Develop and implement the Global Privacy Office's DSR strategy across all applicable locations.
• Define the global DSR process plan, including SOPs, KPIs, and roles.
• Coordinate with IT to maintain technologies and support plans for DSR processes.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex DSRs and support a network of Privacy Stewards and Database Owners.
• Provide DSR insights through dashboards and reports, analyzing trends for data-driven decisions.
• Lead key operational projects, including managing supplier privacy contract templates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Privacy and Data Protection Operations or related fields.
• Experience in operational excellence, process design, and program management for a large global company.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, international projects.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong business leadership skills and ability to direct others toward action.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing DSR service providers on a global scale.
• Experience onboarding databases and systems to DSR processes.
• Certifications with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), such as CIPM or CIPP/US.
• Experience with DSR in the employment context.
