About the position

The Associate Director, Global Product Marketing at Audible is responsible for driving the growth and acceleration of Audible's unique offerings and content on a global scale. This role involves translating customer needs into strategies that inform technology, content, and marketing investments, ultimately enhancing the value proposition for consumers and creators alike. The position requires a strong focus on go-to-market strategies, collaboration with various teams, and a commitment to understanding and championing customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deeply understand Audible's target audiences and champion their needs throughout the organization.
  • Craft product stories to existing and prospective customers by creating clear and consistent propositions articulated through effective messaging.
  • Drive and orchestrate the go-to-market strategies and oversee implementation for select, high-impact product and feature launches.
  • Collaborate with the Content team to ensure go-to-market plans incorporate content and product to strengthen the value proposition.
  • Continuously improve the value of membership and creator products by partnering with Product, Content, and Country Leadership on new features and enhancements.
  • Work with the research team to uncover key customer insights and validate hypotheses.
  • Drive business case development by integrating customer insights, research, financial data, and analytics.
  • Communicate business plans and marketing strategy to senior leadership.
  • Partner with surface and channel Marketing teams to deploy GTM plans and guide cohesive messaging strategy.
  • Partner with the Communications team to craft external stories and press approaches around product evolution.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Analytics, and Data Science to define, measure, and report on success and opportunity areas.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing and business strategy, with experience in defining and driving new customer-centric products and features toward market launch rollout.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field of study.
