About the position

The Associate Director, Growth and Acquisition at Mint Mobile is responsible for managing and growing indirect media channels to attract new subscribers. This role involves developing and executing media strategies, optimizing campaign performance, and collaborating with various teams and agencies to drive acquisition efforts. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights, while also managing relationships with external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the growth and efficiency of acquisition tactics across key indirect media channels, including audio, C/TV, and digital out-of-home.
  • Day-to-day management of audio and C/TV campaigns: monitoring performance, conducting analyses, investigating changes, and driving optimizations to achieve sales and efficiency goals.
  • Partnering with our agencies and vendors as primary POC to manage indirect media campaigns spanning multiple channels (e.g., streaming audio, podcast, terrestrial radio, broadcast, cable) and platforms.
  • Uncovering and actioning insights that drive innovation, growth, and efficiency within owned media channels.
  • Collaborating with our in-house media analytics team to understand channel interactions using our custom attribution model.
  • Identifying, planning, and managing new acquisition strategies, in partnership with our agencies and vendors.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g. eCommerce, Creative, Brand, Retention, Business Intelligence, Legal) to coordinate all processes needed to develop, implement, and execute effective media strategies.
  • Developing and executing new indirect media channel testing roadmap.
  • Plan sales driven by indirect media channels (e.g., C/TV, audio, and DOOH) and the associated cost per sale (CPS); responsible for hitting monthly/quarterly/annual targets set by the business.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns, with a primary focus on audio and/or TV channels (at an agency is a plus).
  • Ability to develop and execute channel strategies to hit business objectives and KPIs.
  • Strong communicator with an aptitude for managing and building relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
