About the position

The Associate Director, HR Analytics at Gartner will play a pivotal role in enhancing the analytical capabilities of the HR Strategy & Operations team. This position is crucial for supporting HR associates globally and aligning analytical efforts with Gartner's growth objectives. The role involves building relationships across the organization, providing analytical support to HR leadership, and developing innovative reporting capabilities to drive impactful change.

Responsibilities

  • Build influential relationships across the organization and partner with HR leadership to solve complex problems and provide analytical support.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Senior HR leadership and act as the voice of HR analytics.
  • Utilize technology to build and implement innovative and scalable analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key priorities across HR teams to ensure analytics provide actionable insights.
  • Deliver on HR objectives by liaising with key partners across the HR Strategy and Operations team.
  • Establish a customer-centric, no-limits culture in all support provided.
  • Proactively identify and prioritize analytical support based on Gartner business strategy.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support HR leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in an analytical subject (e.g., math, science, engineering, economics).
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive business experience, with prior analytics experience required.
  • Ability to effectively engage and lead senior executives in developing solutions for critical business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience telling stories with data to influence senior level clients and business partners.
  • Experience utilizing technology to develop scalable solutions in a global environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage ambiguity and unexpected change.
  • Excellent collaboration and business partnership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and complete projects with high-quality results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in HR analytics or related fields.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power Query.
