About the position

The Associate Director, Internal Communications at Audible is responsible for developing and implementing internal communications strategies that engage and inspire employees globally. This role involves collaborating with various business functions to drive internal communications initiatives, support senior leaders, and ensure effective messaging across diverse cultural contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a communications business partner to various Audible leaders and teams, developing and implementing communications strategy, approach, processes and protocols.
  • Provide support for presentations, message development and other internal outreach aligned with overall Company priorities and activities.
  • Adapt messaging and communications vehicles and formats as needed, including identification of new communications channels.
  • Establish a clear cadence and calendar for communications programming, in coordination with the Internal Communications team.
  • Partner with Global Corporate Affairs and HR team members to inform, engage and inspire employees around business strategy and community engagement programs.
  • Become immersed in various functions/organizations to serve as a key storyteller, amplifying company accomplishments and initiatives.
  • Provide counsel to senior executives to ensure proactive internal communications and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or humanities
  • 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
  • Experience working in a global/matrixed business environment
  • Experience using multiple communications channels and technologies, including Gen AI
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint tools
