About the position

The Associate Director of Internal Communications at Revolution Medicines will be responsible for driving the internal communications strategy and objectives of the company. This role involves developing tools and approaches to enhance employee engagement, understanding, alignment, and inclusion within the organization. The position requires close collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, particularly Human Resources, to effectively communicate the company's culture and values to employees. The Associate Director will also play a key role in connecting employees to the patients served by the company's innovative therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enhancement and implementation of RevMed's internal communications strategy and work plan.
  • Support organization-wide initiatives and communications efforts, including producing internal articles and orchestrating key employee events.
  • Drive digital and multimedia storytelling that helps advance strategic goals.
  • Develop messages, content, and materials to support internal communications strategy across various channels.
  • Maintain editorial calendars to align internal communications with company priorities.
  • Create and strengthen two-way channels for leadership/employee dialogue.
  • Drive communication and change management best practices within the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure alignment of employee communications with broader objectives.
  • Partner with Patient Advocacy to highlight the company's commitment to patients through storytelling and events.
  • Work with IS to refresh and optimize the company's intranet and communications platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in internal and external messaging with the Corporate Affairs team.
  • Measure and report on internal communications activities and impact.
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of communications experience, with at least 3 years in a biotech/pharmaceutical company or PR/communications agency.
  • Proven track record of setting, driving, and delivering on objectives and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across groups and levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Excellent presentation development skills, particularly in PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations.
