About the position

The Associate Director of Marketing for the Americas at Dow Jones will lead the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for the energy portfolio. This role involves creating and managing event marketing programs, collaborating with various business lines, and driving marketing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and market presence in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the go-to-market strategy for the energy portfolio of solutions.
  • Create, manage, and market event content.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Utilize market research and client feedback to develop compelling value propositions.
  • Implement and measure integrated global marketing programs aligned with the buyer's journey.
  • Grow and implement new digital inbound marketing strategies.
  • Develop global sales enablement assets and training strategies for Sales teams.
  • Analyze campaigns and targets daily to ensure measurable ROI.
  • Engage with Sales teams to coordinate marketing activities and track lead flow.
  • Become a subject matter expert on key personas and develop a persona-based strategy for lead conversion.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through enhanced audience segmentation.

Requirements

  • At least 8+ years of B2B demand generation marketing experience focused on events and integrated marketing.
  • Experience in the energy industry (preferred).
  • Proven ability to tie marketing strategy and programs to ROI.
  • Experience in communicating pipeline volume, velocity, and revenue contribution.
  • Track record of measurable success in developing and growing pipelines through innovative programs.
  • Proven content marketing capabilities including strategy, writing, and execution of marketing assets.
  • Experience with marketing tools and platforms such as HubSpot, Eloqua, On24, Salesforce, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
