About the position

The Marketing Communications team at Vista Equity Partners is responsible for spearheading all marketing and corporate communications initiatives on behalf of the Firm. This team plays a pivotal role in shaping and conveying Vista's brand message, both internally and externally. The team manages internal communications to ensure cohesive and effective information flow within the organization, while also orchestrating external campaigns that enhance Vista's market presence and engagement with stakeholders. Through strategic planning and creative execution, the Marketing Communications team supports the company's corporate strategy and objectives, driving the Firm's visibility and reputation. Vista is seeking an Associate Director to join our Marketing Communications team as a marketing leader in brand-owned digital properties. This role reports into the Director, Marketing Communications, who oversees Brand & Digital programs and will own the strategy and execution of our corporate website to maximize the reach and impact of our corporate brand strategy. This role will implement a strategic vision to optimize and scale our team's website and capabilities, supporting the Firm's reputation as well as business objectives to generate leads. The successful candidate will drive channel strategy, enhance the user experience with data-driven approaches, provide thought leadership to stakeholders, and deliver measurable results for continuous site improvement and discoverability. This role is based in Austin, TX and is for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively translate our brand story and the Firm's value proposition across businesses into a best-in-class digital property that serves as a thought leadership and lead-gen platform.
  • Oversee the planning, execution and optimization of the Firm's website, maximizing its reach and utility by all our stakeholders.
  • Develop plans and set priorities to ensure timely and accurate representation of the Firm while maintaining consistent search-engine visibility.
  • Efficiently run and maintain the Firm web property, establishing integrated workflows and processes that yield productivity of all operating resources, tools and platforms.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of website strategy and UX, analyze data to identify trends and insights, and adjust strategies and content as needed.
  • Ensure website activities are fully integrated with broader marketing team initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to drive projects, manage expectations as well as educate.
  • Develop and manage all related spend, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimal ROI.
  • Oversee creation and integration of relevant and timely content across the website in partnership with Marketing or business stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with industry and competitors and the latest in digital marketing trends, tools and technologies to incorporate innovative approaches into plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 8-12+ years of experience in digital marketing, specifically in SEO strategy and website media.
  • Experienced in developing SEO and website strategies that successfully lead to traffic generation, improved user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Strong understanding of website tech platforms, analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled project manager with the ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex topics and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; experience working in highly regulated environments is a plus.
  • Established track record of achieving objectives requiring a high level of cooperation from cross-functional partners, including Legal and Compliance.
