About the position

As Associate Director of Marketing at Verizon, you will lead a team responsible for planning, developing, and executing Mobile Acquisition marketing campaigns. This role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to create effective marketing strategies aimed at growing the Verizon post-paid mobile base. You will be tasked with developing creative briefs, analyzing campaign performance, and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of highly motivated marketing professionals.
• Develop end-to-end promotional campaigns including ideation, communication strategies, execution strategy, customer journey mapping, and campaign analysis.
• Create strategic creative briefs and evaluate creative ideas and concepts.
• Manage advertising agencies and list vendors, including briefing, budget, timelines, and execution.
• Partner with internal and external teams to drive effective strategies, manage timelines, and budgets.
• Develop test strategies and monitor performance to make strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Present recommendations for strategy and creative improvements to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of relevant experience in marketing or related fields.
• Experience leading a team of skilled professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through multitasking and prioritization.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in various marketing tactics including email, text, push, direct mail, digital, social, and traditional media.
• Experience managing or working at an advertising agency.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
