About the position

The Associate Director of Marketing Communications at Verizon is responsible for leading a team in the planning, development, and execution of Mobile Acquisition marketing campaigns. This role focuses on growing the Verizon post-paid mobile base through targeted marketing communications and effective creative strategies. The position requires collaboration with internal and external teams to establish acquisition strategies and optimize campaign performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of skilled marketing communications professionals.
• Develop end-to-end promotional campaigns including ideation, communication strategies, execution strategy, customer journey mapping, and campaign analysis.
• Create strategic creative briefs and evaluate creative ideas and concepts.
• Manage advertising agencies and list vendors, including briefing, budget, timelines, and execution.
• Partner with internal and external teams to drive effective strategies, manage timelines, and budgets.
• Develop test strategies to measure and monitor performance, making strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Present recommendations for strategy and creative improvements to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of relevant experience in marketing or related fields.
• Experience leading a team of skilled professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through multitasking and prioritization.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a range of marketing tactics including email, text, push, direct mail, digital, social, and traditional media.
• Experience managing or working at an advertising agency.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
