About the position

The Associate Director of Marketing Operations at Sobi North America is responsible for leading the promotional review function, overseeing the development and approval of marketing materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and support the company's mission to deliver innovative therapies for rare diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the promotional review function and oversee the Sobi Review Committee (SRC) process.
  • Manage a team of Coordinators for day-to-day SRC operations, including setting agendas and facilitating review meetings.
  • Provide process and system support to submitting teams and own material forecasting and prioritization.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across the promotional review process.
  • Use data and KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership on large-scale initiatives and developments.
  • Develop and maintain strong working partnerships across the organization for collaboration.
  • Facilitate quarterly business reviews with leadership and oversee training on the SRC process.
  • Monitor and communicate potential issues to leadership regarding promotional materials.
  • Oversee the printing and fulfillment of marketing materials.

Requirements

  • ~10 years in pharmaceutical/biotech with 5+ years dedicated promotional review experience.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in pharmaceutical promotional review.
  • Super-user level experience working in Veeva Vault PromoMats required.
  • Working knowledge of the regulation of advertising and promotion of drug products in the U.S.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional groups to achieve common goals.
  • Solid ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders and mediate conflicts.
  • Experience building modular content capabilities strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and technology aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience drafting/reviewing policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing Medical, Legal & Regulatory review process.
  • Experience in Rare Disease preferred.
  • Project management coursework a plus.
