In this position, the Associate Director will conduct regular audits of technology systems, identify new efficiencies, and evaluate new technologies through competitive intelligence. The individual will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of various marketing programs, ensuring that all technological activities within the department are coordinated effectively with the Marketing & Business Development Team's senior leadership. This role requires a proactive approach to managing the firm's marketing technologies, including overseeing the website, social media platforms, and marketing database technologies. The Associate Director will also play a key role in conceptualizing and implementing future CRM initiatives, collaborating closely with firm leadership to communicate these initiatives internally and develop related training programs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage innovative marketing technologies to raise brand awareness and strategically promote the firm.
  • Manage and support the marketing technology team including coaching, training, evaluating, supervising, and mentoring.
  • Oversee the firm's website and all other marketing technologies in support of marketing and business development strategies and initiatives.
  • Maintain the firm's social media platforms and optimizing their use.
  • Oversee the firm's marketing database technologies and the conceptualization and implementation of any future firm CRM initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Department's senior leadership team to ensure consistent and effective external and internal communication.
  • Serve as primary liaison with the firm's technology-related teams.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of directly relevant experience in a professional services or law firm, with a minimum of 10 years in professional marketing technology.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions.
  • Knowledge of web UX, web development, database management, data analytics, SEO, CRM, email marketing, and social media technologies.
  • Previous experience in managing staff and overseeing their professional development.
  • Experience in project management, strategic planning, and budgeting.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills; must be detail-oriented.
  • Effective oral communication skills; must be able to work with employees at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
