About the position

Naterra International, Inc. is seeking an experienced and talented Associate Director of Media & Digital Marketing to join our dynamic team in Coppell, TX. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our beauty, baby care, and personal care product lines through innovative digital marketing strategies. The Associate Director will be responsible for the planning, optimization, execution, and measurement of cross-channel digital marketing programs that support product sales and enhance brand awareness initiatives. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who is passionate about digital marketing and has a proven track record of managing successful campaigns that meet key performance indicators (KPIs). In this role, the Associate Director will oversee various digital marketing channels, including paid social media, display advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), and influencer marketing. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, leveraging their marketing expertise to optimize plans, budgets, and campaigns in alignment with business goals. As a data-driven marketer, the Associate Director will analyze campaign performance to ensure a strong return on investment and will act as a brand ambassador, representing Naterra's values and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all platforms. The Associate Director will also be responsible for developing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that disrupt existing category leaders and drive Naterra's growth. This includes monitoring and reporting on campaign performance, managing the influencer community, and developing creative content for organic social media activations. The role requires collaboration with marketing and sales teams to implement successful initiatives and build relationships with third-party vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery. Staying updated on digital marketing trends and best practices is essential to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Additionally, the Associate Director will provide guidance to team members and assist in recruiting and training new digital marketing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive Digital Marketing and Media strategies and campaigns that will drive Naterra growth and disrupt existing category leaders.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of campaigns to optimize results.
  • Demonstrate a track record of success in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Manage and develop Naterra's influencer community.
  • Develop creative for organic content activations on social media.
  • Manage media investment budgets and allocate resources to ensure objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and implement successful initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with third-party vendors to ensure quality of services and keep Naterra at the forefront of Digital Marketing.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to team members to ensure their success in executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of digital marketing team members.

Requirements

  • Accredited bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or a related field required.
  • At least 5-7 years of retail digital marketing experience, including vendor partnership marketing, display, social media and SEM.
  • Experience managing cross-channel marketing planning and execution.
  • Must love and be curious about data analytics and how that affects the bottom line.
  • Start-up DNA: Willing to roll up sleeves, do foundational work and test new approaches.
  • Able to deftly prioritize and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (web analytics, Google, Facebook, Criteo, Quotient, Shopify etc.).
  • Familiar with best practices, industry standards, and compliance for using customer data in marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns are implemented, tracked correctly, and running optimally through analysis based on pertinent factors.
  • Reporting experience including pivot tables, campaign specific overviews, targeting overviews etc.
  • Proficient project planning skills to meet deadlines accurately in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to analyze complex, evolving situations independently, or as a team member, to arrive at productive, sustainable solutions and predictions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
