About The Position
The Associate Director, Project Management at Insmed will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within the medical brand teams. This position is focused on ensuring high-quality end-to-end planning and execution of medical strategies and priorities. The Associate Director will be responsible for implementing new process excellence frameworks, templates, and methodologies to enhance the execution of projects. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Associate Director will work closely with all Medical Affairs functions and cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive and synergistic approach across Insmed. This position is integral to the success of the medical brand teams, providing essential support and guidance throughout various projects and initiatives. In terms of responsibilities, the Associate Director will facilitate strategic and tactical planning processes, ensuring that medical strategies align with overall business objectives. They will drive the medical launch readiness process, overseeing planning, reviews, tracking, and reporting. The role also involves managing operational excellence by implementing process standards within the Medical Affairs brand teams, coordinating meetings, and tracking project milestones. Knowledge management is another critical aspect, as the Associate Director will prepare and consolidate content for meetings and ensure easy access to important documents. Budget management is a significant responsibility, requiring collaboration with functional leaders and finance to manage annual budgets effectively. The Associate Director will also engage in stakeholder management, working closely with various functions within Medical Affairs and advocating for new ways of working. Reporting metrics and status updates for supported brands will be consolidated for communication across different forums. Additionally, the Associate Director will provide project management support for ad-hoc projects and facilitate the identification of business challenges, transitioning them into actionable projects. Innovation is encouraged, with a focus on implementing best-in-class project management tools and processes to enhance Insmed's operational capabilities.
