About the position

The position involves leading the finished goods logistics operation for Kimberly-Clark's Mill Distribution Network and Overflow sites. The role focuses on creating and driving operational standardization, improving capabilities in operational execution, productivity, and automation, while ensuring safety and quality in logistics operations. The successful candidate will manage a team, oversee logistics strategies, and implement process improvements to enhance service and reduce distribution expenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mill DC Logistics Operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost results.
• Create and implement a Mill DC Logistics strategy for best-in-class operations.
• Manage a budget of over $190MM for storage and handling expenses.
• Identify and implement distribution process improvements to enhance productivity and service.
• Project management of logistics projects to ensure timely and effective solutions.
• Integrate data analytics for improvement recommendations and efficiency.
• Provide expert technical advice and coaching for logistics operations.
• Develop and sustain the Logistics Operations playbook and metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years' experience in distribution/logistics operations management
• Proven ability to lead a team and build talent
• Experience in P&L and budget management
• Experience managing relationships with 3rd Party Logistics Providers (3PLs)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create strategy and communicate effectively
• Solid business acumen and change management skills.
