About the position

The Associate Director of Admissions Data Analytics at Shenandoah University plays a vital role in the Office of Admissions, contributing to the success of the University's recruitment functions. This full-time position involves utilizing advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to design, maintain, execute, and summarize recruitment and admissions-related analytics. The incumbent is responsible for communicating findings to a non-technical audience and directly impacts the University's recruitment intelligence, facilitating informed decisions in student recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of various scheduled reports, including collaboration with external vendors to resolve data-related issues.
• Work closely with the AVP of Admissions and Recruitment to provide necessary admissions and recruitment-related ad hoc reports.
• Develop and continuously maintain and assess admissions predictive models.
• Stay updated on global, national, regional, and local admissions, labor, and societal trends to assess their impact on recruitment operations.
• Create and regularly update dashboards and reports that monitor key performance indicators for the Office of Admissions.
• Serve as the liaison for recruitment-related data needs for other University offices.

Requirements

• Proven experience with relational databases such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and ACCESS.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume setting and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with various constituencies.
• Experience with higher education SIS and CRM systems, specifically Ellucian Colleague and Technolutions Slate CRM.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 or more years of direct experience in a data analytics role.
• Master's degree or higher.
