About the position

The Associate Director of Creative Services will play a pivotal role in the Creative Services team, reporting directly to the Creative Director. This position is designed for a creative professional who will oversee the production of various print, digital, and web assets to meet the marketing needs of the organization. The Associate Director will be responsible for managing the development of materials, ensuring that all outputs align with the organization's brand identity and strategic goals. This includes overseeing the creation of proposals, campaigns, presentations, and stewardship reports, while also providing art direction and creative design input. In this role, the Associate Director will be tasked with developing, implementing, and executing all organizational design and production projects. This involves a collaborative approach, working closely with leadership and other team members to ensure an integrated marketing strategy that encompasses communications, video, web, digital, and social media activities. The goal is to drive the organization's overall objectives as outlined in the strategic plan. The position requires a strong focus on quality assurance, ensuring that all deliverables maintain a consistent brand identity across all media. The Associate Director will also manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and technically skilled, with a passion for multimedia design and a commitment to enhancing the organization's brand experience for all audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of print, digital, and web assets for marketing needs.
  • Provide project management oversight for the development of materials.
  • Ensure a consistent brand experience across all outputs.
  • Develop and implement organizational design and production projects.
  • Create design concepts for visual elements representing the organization.
  • Lead all aspects of creative development for assigned projects.
  • Edit and create multimedia elements including graphics, video, and audio.
  • Manage artwork and direct freelance designers and photographers for special projects.
  • Present creative concepts to internal and external clients as needed.
  • Conduct team brainstorming sessions and design discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an art-related field or a minimum of six years in graphic design, multimedia/digital/video design and development.
  • 2-4 years of experience with different types of multimedia (video/graphics/audio).
  • Minimum 6 years experience working on content development for print, video, web, and other multimedia solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects on time and within budget.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to creative development.
  • Functional to advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition).
  • Knowledge of front-end web design, motion graphics, HTML5, and Microsoft Office applications.
