About the position

The Associate Director of FSP Programs at Bay Area Community Services is a leadership role focused on enhancing mental health services for homeless individuals, transitional age youth, and the aging population. This position requires a clinical license and involves overseeing program operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing new services aligned with the organization's growth strategy. The role emphasizes empowerment, accountability, and innovation within a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 4 Full-Service Partnerships and ensure compliance with contracts, laws, and regulations.
• Provide supportive supervision to managers and supervisors, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Implement consumer-centered, needs-driven, and culturally relevant services.
• Manage the flow of referrals, intakes, and discharges of participants, ensuring accessibility for all.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with documentation and charting requirements for funding streams.
• Implement continuous quality improvement standards and systems with staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with the community and coordinate services as needed.
• Participate in the development of new programs and services, including grant writing and training.

Requirements

• LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PsyD with current BBS registration required.
• Two years of post-licensure experience in a behavioral science field.
• Three years of progressive administrative, direct service, and leadership experience in the social service field.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward common goals.
• Valid California driver's license and personal vehicle with proof of insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in grant writing and presentations.
• Familiarity with mental health service provision for homeless populations.
