About the position

The Associate Director of Infusion Operations plays a crucial role in the development and oversight of programs and services aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency within infusion centers. This position is responsible for strategic vision, leadership, and collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives that align with organizational goals. The role emphasizes growth in the external infusion referral market and focuses on optimizing resource utilization while maintaining high standards of patient and provider experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business operations to support organic growth of the practice and infusion center, focusing on the external infusion referral market.
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, and RCM Teams for Budget, Forecasting, and Financial Performance, setting and tracking goals and metrics in alignment with Optum CO and OCMO goals.
  • Lead teams to ensure best practices are identified and implemented, reducing volatility and enhancing long-term profitability of Infusion Centers.
  • Build cross-disciplinary teams to focus on exceptional patient, provider, and staff experience, evaluating staffing ratios and managing labor expenses effectively.
  • Assist AMD and Physician Leadership with Physician and Provider Recruitment.
  • Accountable for patient health and safety as well as Patient Experience, developing action plans to meet NPS targets.
  • Collaborate with Physician Leadership and VP to develop Strategic Plans and implement strategies and metrics for success, utilizing A3 Methodology.
  • Work with Referrals and Patient Assistance team to achieve AR and denial rate goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical management role, preferably in the managed healthcare field.
  • Health Care Operations Experience with Specialty Practices and/or ancillary centers.
  • Experience in value-based programs including risk/capitation and ACO/d Savings.
  • Solid Financial Acumen.
  • Solid People/Leadership Skills with successful experience in building healthy cultures.
