Additionally, the role includes capturing key moments at the law school through photography and videography, creating in-house videos for distribution across various platforms, and managing the law school's social media presence. This includes crafting and posting content that aligns with the strategic communications plan, monitoring social media for engagement and potential issues, and analyzing the effectiveness of social media campaigns. Furthermore, the Associate Director will promote a positive image of the law school by implementing the strategic communications plan, writing media releases, and pitching stories to media outlets. The role also involves drafting speeches for the dean, responding to media inquiries, and representing the law school at public functions. The Associate Director will work closely with UGA Marketing and Communications to ensure that the law school adheres to branding guidelines and crisis communication policies, thereby enhancing the overall image of both the law school and the university.
