About the position

FGS Global is seeking an Associate Director of Marketing, Strategic Content Management to join our New York office in a hybrid role. This position is pivotal in organizing and implementing our marketing strategies and initiatives across North America. The Associate Director will work closely with various teams within the firm to design and ensure the smooth execution of marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy, campaign management, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. In this role, the Associate Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive and innovative content strategy that aligns with the firm's marketing goals. This includes managing the content calendar, overseeing the full cycle of content development from drafting to distribution, and collaborating with practice and sector leaders to create thought leadership content. The Associate Director will also work with the Research team to produce data-driven insights and partner with the Digital and Creative teams to present this content in engaging formats such as infographics, videos, and interactive websites. Additionally, the Associate Director will manage the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns, advising partners on targeting and audience channels, and developing engaging social media content. Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in campaign marketing will be essential to ensure the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance creativity with data-driven decision-making to enhance our marketing efforts and support the firm's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a comprehensive, innovative, and high-quality content strategy.
  • Own the content calendar and ensure the timely delivery of all content projects.
  • Oversee the entire content development process from drafting to distribution.
  • Partner with practice and sector leaders to draft and refine thought leadership content, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Research team to create data-driven thought leadership pieces.
  • Work with the Digital and Creative teams to package thought leadership in visually engaging and creative formats (e.g., infographics, videos, interactive websites).
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Partner with the internal communications team to promote thought leadership and other marketing initiatives internally.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns and coordinate with the broader global marketing team to support various marketing campaigns.
  • Advise practice and sector partners on targeting and audience channels, both externally and internally.
  • Develop engaging social media content.
  • Stay informed about developments in campaign marketing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content strategy and marketing management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in data-driven marketing and content development.
