About the position

Faulkner University is seeking an experienced and creative individual to serve as Associate Director for the University Marketing department. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on skills in copywriting, graphic design, photography, and videography. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that drive enrollment and raise awareness of our new Risk Management BS program, while also serving other university marketing needs. This is a full-time position, requiring over 40 hours of work per week, and is based in Montgomery, AL. The Associate Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Faulkner's new Risk Management Bachelor of Science program across both online and on-ground platforms. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Associate Director will work closely with the program director, marketing teams, other departments, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the University's goals. The position also involves assisting in the creation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, which include digital, print, social media, and event-based initiatives. Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance is essential, as the Associate Director will need to adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement. The role requires writing compelling and persuasive copy for various platforms, including web content, email campaigns, brochures, and advertisements, ensuring that all messaging aligns with Faulkner University's brand voice and objectives. Additionally, the Associate Director will design visually appealing marketing materials, such as digital ads, posters, flyers, and social media graphics, while maintaining brand consistency across all visual content. The successful candidate will also be responsible for capturing and producing high-quality photographs and videos for marketing campaigns, events, and promotional materials, as well as editing and optimizing visual content for various platforms. This position is integral to the marketing efforts of Faulkner University and offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the institution's outreach and enrollment efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Faulkner's new Risk Management Bachelor of Science program across online and on-ground platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field required.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization), social media advertising, and email marketing required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing with a focus on higher education.
  • Experience in copywriting, graphic design, photography, and videography.
  • Knowledge of relevant software programs including Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign.
