About the position

The Associate Director of Operations at The Children's Center is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a high-quality Early Care and Learning Program. This role emphasizes strong leadership, personnel management, and financial oversight, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals including monitoring the budget, collecting fees, fundraising, grants, payroll, and benefits.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Manage and oversee vendor relationships to optimize service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to develop long-term strategies for growth and sustainability.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to classroom teams, promoting professional development and leadership skills.
  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of staff with an ongoing plan for staff development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood preferred OR an Associate's in Early Childhood AND two years of experience supervising staff with a plan to earn a Bachelor's Degree or Administrator's Credential.
  • Extensive experience in operations management, with a focus on Early Childhood Programs.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes.
