About the position

The Associate Director of Program Management at the McDonough School of Business is responsible for overseeing the delivery of non-degree programs in Executive Education, which are crucial to the school's strategic growth. This role involves extensive client interaction, coordination with various stakeholders, and managing a team to ensure the successful execution of over 50 programs that generate significant revenue. The position requires flexibility in working hours and travel, as well as strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate program delivery across diverse cultures and settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading a team of 6, including student workers, to deliver over 50 programs and $8m in revenues.
• Provide extensive client interaction on a daily basis across cultures and borders with hundreds of stakeholders.
• Lead communications, facilitating the student journey for 30-75 participants in any single program.
• Perform highly detailed coordination with faculty members, instructors, external vendors, and contractors.
• Collaborate on multiple special projects to optimize programs delivery standards and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 4 or more years of experience in program or event management and high-level client interaction
• Outstanding organizational abilities, a critical eye for detail, and outstanding written and oral communications
• Ability to long-term plan, make decisions and act under pressure
• Ability to succeed with minimal supervision on most tasks and delegate to others
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects seamlessly
• Demonstrated experience working in teams and managing student workers and junior staff
• Availability to work some weekends and evenings up to 20% of the year for program deliveries and events and some offsite travel.
