The Associate Director of Operations for Rare Disease at Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals Inc. is a pivotal role that focuses on understanding and addressing the data needs across various stakeholders within the Rare Disease Business Unit (RDBU). This position requires collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Business Operations and Strategy (BOS), to deliver insightful dashboards and reports that enhance performance monitoring and facilitate timely business insights. The Associate Director will report directly to the Head of Operations, Strategy, and Launch Leader for Rare Disease, ensuring significant interaction with key internal stakeholders, particularly the field force. In this role, the Associate Director will support the execution of strategic projects that position the business unit effectively in a rapidly evolving landscape. This includes identifying stakeholder needs related to key performance indicators, sales data, and field activity data. The incumbent will manage the monthly performance reporting processes within RDBU, collaborating closely with BOS partners to provide data-driven insights that inform and improve decision-making processes. Additionally, the Associate Director will oversee internal, cross-functional quarterly business reviews, focusing on metrics and insights, and will track and prioritize data requests across RDBU to ensure a shared understanding of performance at both national and regional levels. The role also involves collaborating with the Rare Disease Brand and Field teams to develop pipelines and workflows that enhance data sharing effectiveness. The Associate Director will lead a data working group within RDBU, ensuring that reporting and data availability meet the needs of various teams. Furthermore, the position requires collaboration with contracting and channel strategy teams to assess improvements in analyzing key brand growth trends, assisting in brand and tactical planning for all three RDBU brands, and preparing for various meetings and events. The Associate Director will also work closely with Operations leads from Oncology and Neuro business units to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the Rare Disease Business Unit, all while developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
