About the position

The Associate Director, Precision Medicine Clinical Laboratory Operations is responsible for overseeing clinical laboratory project and program management across various therapeutic areas. This role involves strategic oversight of laboratory deliverables, ensuring study timelines are met, and managing risks associated with clinical laboratory operations. The position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders to support both early and late-stage clinical programs, ensuring effective communication and alignment of laboratory deliverables with clinical study teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of laboratory deliverables across the portfolio.
• Ensure study start timelines are met and manage risks associated with clinical laboratory operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for all aspects of clinical laboratory deliverables from study conduct to launch.
• Plan, monitor, and update biomarker strategy delivery schedules for clinical development programs.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and cross-functional partners to manage clinical laboratory management.
• Communicate enhancements to Clinical Laboratory Project Management and design processes to address identified gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical experience in matrix interaction, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with Clinical Trials, focusing on clinical sample collection.
• Extensive experience in clinical laboratory operations, biospecimen logistics, and/or clinical study experience.
• Strong understanding of technical, clinical, and strategic aspects of laboratory operations delivery.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in stakeholder management and leading internal and external meetings.
• Demonstrated knowledge in science and technology related to clinical studies.
